#24- Past 2 Weeks

These past two weeks have been hard, for everyone. I think I've cried more than I have ever from about January to now. I still can't believe you're gone for 18 months, and only 2 have passed :( I do stuff all the time and think of you, and it makes me sad! I want to cry every time someone mentions you. We are all praying so much for you, we even had a family fast! I hope you're doing better now. It made my day to get a message from you, I almost cried in school when I looked at my phone! LOVE YOU, soooo much!

#23- Don't Stop Believin'

This week was year 3 since Conner has been gone. I knew him, but not near as well as Kendall did. But, don't worry Kendall, I wore your Conner shirt in memory of him for you. ;) Love and Miss you Conner. Can't believe it's been 3 years already.

#22- Black Friday!

This is a picture of us on black friday, waiting in line for 4 hours at Best Buy. One of my all time favorites.

#21- Ice Cream Shop!

So, I now work at the ice cream shop. It's quite fun, I'm just following in Kendall's footsteps. ;) Tody, a lady came in and after she paid she gave me a $5 tip. She was like "Oh, this place always hires the nicest girls! I absolutely love it! Especially that tomboy girl with brown hair. She was so funn and nice!" And I was like yupp, that's my sister. LOVE YOU KENDALL!

#20- Breakdown

For some odd reason, I had a breakdown as soon as I got home from school today. The funny thing is, I actually had a pretty good day. So, I'm not exactly sure what happened. I think it's the fact that I saw Kendall's letter sitting on the counter! Every letter I read I start bawling my eyes out. AHH. I miss her soo much, it's not even funny. I can't wait for her to get back.. It'll be the beginning of my senior year, and she'll go off to BYUI. Then, I'll graduate and hopefully go there too and we'll room together and play basketball together. I'm so happy I have a sister that is my best friend and not one that I fight with all the time. I don't know what I would do without her! LOVE YOU KENDALL!

#19- FFA SLC

This week was the FFA state leadership conference, in Twin Falls. I always look forward to this! I'm not big into the FFA, but it's always fun to go and be on the Landscape team, and go to sessions, have our own hotel rooms, etc. This year, I roomed with Shelby Lee, Edmy Vega, and Shelby McRae. It was so much fun, it was the best time I've had so far and it's my third year. And on the brightside, Landscape team got FIFTH! There were 24 teams altogether, and 17 that showed up. So I'd say we did pretty dang good, I'm proud of our team :) Just in case you don't know what Landscaping is, we have to identify trees like this. It's so hard, but I'm always up for a challenge :)



And since I was gone, that's why I haven't posted in the last couple days. Now to go write Kendall :)

#18- National Sibling Day

April 10. National Sibling Day. I've got the best siblings ever, they're the greatest. The one I'm closest to is, of course, Kendall. AND I MISS HER!

#17-CABIN! Oh, and Tamarack.

Soooo, we are in the process of buying this cabin, which is right on the lake:



And since we are buying this cabin in Cascade, my mom bought our family a season pass to Tamarack for next year. YES!



Kendall's gonna be jealous, but it'll allllll be here for her when she comes home :)

#15- NCAA Champions!

Kendall has always liked Kentucky, but I don't blame her. I mean, they do have the Rupp Arena, and that's pretty awesome. :) Buttttt, she missed March Madness this year! And she won't be disappointed :) KENTUCKY WON! They beat Kansas in the championship game. I know she'll be happy :)

#14-FAIL.

I've been failing miserably at this. BUT. For now on, I'm going to keep up on this. I WILL!

#13- Citrus Heights, CA

Mom called Kendall's mission president this morning, and he let us know that her first area is Citrus heights! We are all very excited. Citrus Heights is approx. 505 miles from homedale, which is 8 hrs and 20 min.... So not too far! :D

#11- Funny Pictures

Every day, Kendall and I would sit on our phones downstairs both being silent. I would look up funny pictures, and send them to her, when she was sitting right next to me. Two of the funniest ones are these. They make me laugh EVERY TIME.

#10- Snuggie Texts

So to start off... Kendall has almost been gone for 3 weeks... THREE WEEKS! Amy, you were right... time flies! Hopefully it will continue doing this, so 18 months will be over in no time :)
Okay, now for the snuggie texts. So, one day, Kendall texted me during school saying how she couldn't stop laughing, and she was home alone. All day I wondered what she couldn't stop laughing about! When I got home, she showed me the snuggie texts.. The first time I read it, I kinda thought it was dumb, like I didn't laugh at all. Then, I read it with Sarah Maggard, and oh man she laughed so hard.. and for those of you who don't know her, her laugh is VERY contagious. So, then I kinda laughed. THEN, I read it at school, with one of my teachers... My teacher was laughing so hard, and I thought I was going to die! Ever since then, I can't handle myself when I read it. I laugh sooo hard, and sit there crying because it's just too funny. If you want to read it, go here:

So, while Kendall is gone, I decided I'm going to send her a snuggie, that says "1+1=furrrrrever." Once you read the texts, you'll understand. I'm sure it'll give her a good laugh, so I'm way excited!

#9- Basketball

This last Wednesday, I had my basketball banquet. A lot of things happened at that. One big thing is that Holtry won't be our coach anymore, which is soooo sad. He is now our athletic director! Then, on Saturday, I went to the Bam Jam (a big basketball tournament) with the Romriell's to watch Jordan play. Pretty much, I loved it, because I enjoy basketball sooooo much! And I used to play basketball with Kendall AT LEAST once a week at the church. Oh how I miss that, and miss her! Love you Kendall :)

#8- Spanish

A couple months ago, I took a Spanish test, and got my highest score of the year, which was a 90%. I always complain how hard Spanish 2 is, so this was a pretty good accomplishment haha. When I got the 90%, Kendall hung it up on the fridge...



Well today, I got a 100% on my test! A test I didn't even study for, I was gone for a week while they studied in class for it, and a test that I thought I was going to COMPLETELY fail. But nope, I got 100%, which was the highest in the class. NOW I feel accomplished :D

#7- Fighting!

So, Kendall and I rarely have fights... I can think of two serious fights (which get dangerous, punching each other and throwing each other on the ground...). But we mess around and "play fight" quite often. Every day, I'd say! Since day one. Here's some proof :)

#6- Persuasive Speech

So, about a year ago, Kendall gave a no texting while driving speech in her college speech class. Her teacher told her she did really well, and she got 100% for it! Since I knew that I was going to have to be giving a persuasive speech in my speech class, I asked her if I could use it. Today, we got assigned to do our persuasive speech. I'm so excited to give my speech... I didn't do any work, and hopefully it turns out as good as her teacher said it was!!

#5- I love letters!

Today we got our first letter. It just made my day, to come home and see a letter from Kendall on the counter. As I read through it, it made me happy to see that she is doing EXTREMELY well and hasn't been homesick at all, which is really surprising. She has seen some people we know, and met awesome new people! Glad she is loving it so much.

#4- Skype

So, Kendall and Ali used to Skype a lot... Have Skype dates, ya know. I always thought it was weird.. Until, one day I decided to try it out. Shelby, Kendall, Ali, and I all skyped. I won't lie, it was pretty fun. And Ali still owes me a Skype Date, for my birthday. Hahaha.

#2- Catch Me When I Fall

Kendall often liked to embarass me. Whether it was kissing me on the cheek when all my friends were around, or jumping on my back and yelling "I'm riding the bull!" She always seemed to find a way to embarass me, but I don't think it has ever made me mad, because all I can do is laugh! Here's a picture of us at Provo Beach Resort. Kendall thought I was gonna fall, so she catched me at the end!

To start off, I had a very rough time when Kendall left. I knew it was coming, so it was no surprise. But I still cried for hours. It's okay, though, because I know it's all for the better.
